Everyone makes new year resolutions that dont always work but we at Rosiesreteat start a new year with new ideas, new minders, new adventures, new dogs to meet, new holidays to help our clients relax knowing their fur babies are loved and looked after while they are on holiday. A typical day for the dogs would begin with a new and exciting place to go walkies and oh the new smells would release those endorphins and they come back calm and go on to be totally spoilt and talked to all day long even though they dont understand what is being said the person they staying with talks so silly sometimes in a voice that sounds so likeable . Some actually love having a human companion all day long and ooooh the cuddles they get are wonderful and the beds they get to sleep on are so inviting they sleep well. Of course there are those that miss mum and dad so bad it takes a couple of days to love where they are staying and its understandable they get a little shake of anxiety at first and wonder what has happened but before long they cant wait to go on the new walks and be spoilt totally they kind of think they could get used to this. This is not a made up story but a reality of how we love the dogs that come to stay and we understand they are all different and they all need reassurance at some stage its going to not only be ok here but its fun. Dogs dont know time as we do and they adjust well to their new enviroment but the joy our dog minders get when the dogs get picked up and they see their owners again is priceless and very rewarding do Rosiesretreat is all for dogs but our dog minders are just so special too and thats why every new year we keep opening our doors and welcoming in our four legged friend.
